Hi All,
I have dabbled in computer graphics for many years, renewing my interest when I discovered the community on Renderosity, many years ago now. Thanks for all the friends, support, comments and just views! I hope that you like what you see, and don't mind my endless experimenting and daft sense of humour!I have become something of a champion for Carrara and believe it to be one of the most comprehensive and best value 3D packages available. I became known for my extensive use of Carrara's dynamic hair and 2010 has seen the release of a number of commercial Carrara hair products. I have also recorded a whole series of video tutorials for Infinite Skills Inc available over at Daz and also here:http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/learning-carrara-7.htmlOne of my other passions is music and I used to be keyboard player with progressive rock band Manning (2008-2009). I was delighted to make my recording debut on "Number Ten" released early 2009 - I also had a big hand in designing the CD cover and booklet! I am now writing and recording some demos of my own music. Thanks for looking - have a great day! Phil

I'm not so much of a prog rocker, more goth/indie kid. But I have grown up now, fair play for playing live gigs, the one I played scared the crap out of me!!! Good to see the other interests of the artists on this site!

Wow! You learn something new about people on Rendo every day it seems. I looked up Manning on "Yahoo! Music" and the top tunes are playing as I type this. Excellent music and cool stage shot.

Hi Phil - that's a great gig shot. But more important.... WOOOWW!! I'm not a huge fan of rock, but I just listened to the 'Lost' demo on guymanning.com, and you have a new fan here - this is fantastic MUSIC! I especially loved the interplay between lead guitar and synth on this track. The expressive range of Guy's voice is terrific.. soft and sweet one moment, strong and biting the next, and the vocal harmony.. well, I had better stop now.. I think you get the picture! Conclusion - indulge yourself, don't be shy about it! Share yourself with the world even if it seems irrelevant and self-indulgent (like that commentary of mine you said you enjoyed!), because many will appreciate it even if they do not say so, and those who do say so give you something back that is hard to come by.
