Description

Still life rendered in Vue ProStudio Basket material "waven" from Geekatplay.com, Triceratops from zygote.com via Vue, Spinosaurus from Daz3d.com, "shell growth" material by Sacada. The apothecary jar and vase objects were modeled in Blender, materials added in Vue. This is my first Vue render, I've been doing 3d for a couple of months playing with different freebies and just got ProStudio last week. Browsing through the galleries at Renderosity I thought that the images being done in Vue were closest to what I want to accomplish. So what do I do when I get a program that's great at doing landscapes and atmosphere? A still life...

Thanks for the nice comments. Bigbraader thanks for noticing the plastic on the dinos, I spent ages trying to get a material that would look like that sort of plastic. There are tons of metals and glasses out there but not much plastic at all, and that's mostly hard shiny stuff.

Nice work w/ light and different materials. You did a great job capturing the glass, water, walls and cheap plastic dinosaurs. :)
