Description

I'm still enjoying trying to get to grips with Vue. For this one I wanted to play around with lighting so I thought of attempting an image with the moon on one side and dawn approaching on the other. The most appropriate format was 'letterbox' dimensions and this image depicts a ship awaiting daybreak in order that it can resume its journey. Very nice work, Tony. You are developing a bit of a style here. I know this is a totally different picture, but the styling is very like your one before last. I like this one, and especially the format you have chosen to use. The complementary palette helps the style too.

Great lighting and reflections, probably wouldn't have a occured to me to try it myself, but the letterbox format is just perfect for this one. Excellent work.

You have a knack for capturing moments and freezing them into frames... this is amazing work. The shadows cast by the setting moon and the sun just touching the surface at the edge of the horizon is outstanding. One can feel the shifting hull as the tide begins to change. wonderful artwork my friend.
