I'm old, married to Linda ( http://lindamccarthy.redbubble.com/ ) for what she thinks are 20 long years.  Two step-children, four grandchildren and a great dog pal, our Dirk.
I am an accountant now with an eclectic job history. Have loved photography for years and am just now getting back into it after a 20 year hiatus. Lost most of my prior work and gear in an arson fire. So. I guess you could say I'm starting over with my preferred personal therapy.
It's nice to have a place where I can look at the work of others for ideas and challenges, as well as a format to display my own work.

Mmmmm, definitely, by the leaves too:-) Just look at the fine and perfect veining. A great close up John. I have an Hibiscus, but it never flowers - it never gets warm for long enough. It was here when we moved in so it would be lovely to see it just even once, but by the time the buds are big enough we are getting our first frosts:-(

It's so beautiful! I wonder if you can dry the petals and make your own Zinger tea. Your close-ups of flowers I never get to see here are fantastic.
