Description
This is Abby. She is part Lab and part Mountain Cur, or so I am told.I adopted her out of the back of a truck at Wal-mart. They didn't know what else she was mixed with besides Lab, but my Vet says Mountain Cur.
Talk about a crazy animal! She is such a tease. She steals and runs and chews up everything. No one likes her but me. I guess because I am Mom. She loves me, and that is a big plus.(Of course she loves everyone.) It doesn't matter if she is a brat. She is just young. She won't be a year old until September. She just has alot of energy. I make alot of excuses for her...can you tell? lol.
My aunt came to visit my Mother (with whom I live) and asked me if I knew that Abby would be that ugly when I got her. That hurt my feelings so bad!
I think she is beautiful.
That made me want to say something really rude, but I didn't. She caught me on a good day.

Your Aunt must have been the one having a bad day because I think Abby is beautiful. My mom always said I never met a dog I didn't like and she was pretty much right. You created a wonderful tribute to her with your collage.

kin fokes can be mean but guess you still got to love them like you love this dog. It do have wonderful color and if you can get the show "dog whipper" watch it or go on line and see how you can break hiom of his bad habbit of stealing and chewing up thing. He is young and will be easy to teach him.

Randee, she is a beautiful dog.my older dog is a lab mix and she is a very good pet dog.she used to look mean, but now she is getting more white than black.she hardly ever barks and even lost her aggressive nature toward cats I bet you will finf your dog will be smart once she gets over the puppy stage

Well, I don't think she's ugly at all !....I sure wouldn't have kept my big mouth shut :o) ....she's just about as cute and adorable as you can get and don't ever let anybody tell you different :o) ....great shots !

I wouldn't have kept my big mouth shut either. Your Aunt thought Abby was ugly? She must have something ugly hiden inside of her to see ugly in something this beautiful. I've never heard of "Mountain Cur", but I"m assuming that's a mixed breed specific to the mountains. Abby has lab in her for sure, and the rest is mostly beautiful. Just my humble opinion, but then I've never critter or beastie I didn't like, though there are people I've met that I didn't like.
