A nice shot of a formidable old structure. (It's so bare! What a stark courtyard!) Nice capture of the old decayed brick. I remember some shots in your gallery where you got closeups of decaying brick: They were wonderful, like abstract paintings. Here you show us whole walls of them...It's really a formidable capture. Thanks for taking us to all these places, Helle. I love all your series! (Will I be the first comment again? Will it be two times in one week? I hope so! Here goes........)

Looks so very old Helle, a magnificent building. I like the way you composed it. The angle of the castle and the shadow. Good one! The windows give me almost a prison feeling. (and I love seing Dannebrogen)

Great photo - quite the history of being burned down rebuilt, burned again and rebuilt, thanks for the link too, It would be interesting to see the original 13th Century castle - although they did an excellent job on restoring the castle

Oh how I love castles...I wish someday I could go through one...I've never been lucky enough to even stand outside of one...sighs....but then there are people like you who take pictures to share with us and I love you for it....can you even imagine the tales this castle would tell if it could speak to us? Thank you for sharing my friend...a fav with me!
