Great shot of a male Halloween Pennant. Although my field guide says they are common in my area (as well as most of Eastern USA), I have not yet seen one. Congrats on this capture. Thanks for sharing. Lee

Thanks for the comments! This guy landed on a piece of straw grass and posed for me. I was within about 3 feet of him when I got this one. My wife and I went fishing and nothing was biting so out came the camera.
