My name is Marnie, and I am currently in the USArmy stationed at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I work nights at the hospital and bring my laptop to work on fractals in my downtime. I guess that's why I got back into them. Something to do but be able to walk away from if need be.
I just loaded my first image not very long ago, and I am very pleased with this community. Everyone is so polite and postive. Makes one want to go and create more just to be able to share. This is the most fun I have had in awhile.
I want to thank Ronnie Jay for making my banner for me. You all probably know him better as FracJay, and he is my favorite fracattack buddy!! Luv ya, Ronnie!
I hope you enjoy my gallery!!Â

Very nice, Marnie. I like this one. It's quite and relaxing. Sorry about your day... sometimes we rush at life so vigorously we seem to make it all worse - and sometimes see it worse than it is - glad the lady handed the wallet in. This 'flower design' has a calming influence. I think I'll print it our and stick it on my wall.

with all the problems you had.... it amazes me you had a mindset to make something so beautiful like this.. Yes some days can be a bitch but they have a purpose.. .. you are going to appreciate any day from now on that will be just slightly better.. lol...

Very nicely done - I like it.... I had my wallet pickpocketed last month... been an absolute nightmare as my credit cards are registered in Ireland and not in peru... With security restrictions etc I finally received my replacement 3 days ago and my debit card today - via my sister and a whole pile of hassle.... Worse still in my residency permit..... I had to stand in a queue for hours all over again.... twice...... Hope you have nothing like the trouble I did... Not a nice experience.

I really like the little flower like spirals, and they merge well with the stencil look. Not ugly at all. Your day was not good, but it's over, hope you relaxed and put your feet up when you got home.

So rich and beautiful. Great lighting, and I love the coloring and texture. Very nice! Sure hope today is a better day for you, Marnie. An unusual and great blessing that your wallet was returned intact!

I've had those kinds of days. Two years ago, I had mine stolen at the car rental at an airport. I almost didn't get to fly home that night. I got home, had to have my honey pick me up since I couldn't pay for parking and spent 3 hours canceling my cards. I never got mine back. I'm glad you got to know someone was honest enough to turn yours in. This is a gorgeous creation. Very different and full of grace and subtle shading. Bunny

This pic is kinda like life, a little sooty and smudged around the edges but still full of promise and shine. I am glad you at least got your wallet back. It happened to me a couple of years ago. Someone found it in the parking lot and took it to a police station...My work card was in there and they called me at work. It is quite relieveing to have that small chunk of property in ones hand.
