morning all :o) this shot was taken a while back now in may and i have posted this as i`m running out of pics for the moment .i really love this clematis as it puts on such a great show when it flowers and covers fences and walls in next to no time growing upto 6 foot a year . we spent the best part of yesterday getting everything ready for our break away also checking everything works properly in the caravan .a few minor repairs were needed to pipes but i can now safely say we are ready for the off on saturday morning :o) thanks for looking and take care mick

I've not taken many flower pics as yet this Summer but this has given me some inspiration. Only thing is I need a macro lens for my DSLR camera, I want to get really close! My old Fuji (which isn't that old) had a macro and super macro setting which I think I will use for the time being. Gonna be the Hottest day of the year today,(prob down London LOL)

Superb! This pic reminds me to cut one of mine back before its too late. Running out of pics, eh! I'm sure you're not, you've just set the bar too high. I've got the opposite problem at present, trouble is the time it takes to choose one, I end up doing yet another montage through indecision! Let's hope the weather stays fine for your trip, at least Dorset will still be green not brown and yellow when you arrive.

Excellent capture Mick, I didn't manage to get one of our clematis this time around, it had a few nice blooms on it but the rain came down with so much force it absolutely wrecked it. I don't think there is one left with all its petals on. Hope you have a great time down Dorset and the weather stays good for you. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
