DOB : 10th June - you don't think I'm telling you which year do you ???
Oh, I will say that I'm female - I get so many emails addressed 'Dear Sir' it drives me nuts!!!
A little bit about me......
I used to paint on canvas in oils an acrylics many years ago so when I took up digital art it all seemed very different. Think I'm just getting the hang of it by now ;-)
I love animals, hate animal cruelty.  Love poking around in old ruined abbeys and castles - fortunately, there's a profusion of both where I live. Love the countryside, hate towns and cities. AND I HATE FOOTBALL!!!! (Sorry for shouting the last bit)

This is very sweet, Gill. The buildings and vehicles make a superb render and I really like what you've done with the light and rain. Great job on the image (never pass up a chance to plug your wares) and a lovely poignant story as well!

Midland Red - gosh that takes me back! I used to live in Coventry as a child (now in Yorkshire). Beautifully done image - the city looks too elegant for Birmingham though! I love the advert on the bus!!

Cool one, Gill. Like the scratches. I haven't been to England for at least 3 years Next time I go, I'm sure I'll miss double deckers, I just loved to get on the upper deck in my London days. Never seen a driver scratch his bum, but again, I was always on the upper deck...

Nice work Gill - Great to see my old bus used in someone else's work. There is something quite special about double deckers - I've seen them in Britain and Hong Kong and Bombay (Mumbai) and they have a special charm all of their own. Possibly my favourite ever double -decker was one I saw at the Glastonbury Festival in 1989 which was a sort of mobile vegetarian restaurant. There is certainly something memorable about them.

I got a kick out of your ad on the bus, but then even more tickled at your explanation for it. Reminded me of my motto: I can resist everything but temptation. Grin.
