Description

happy Canada Day to all my country people and all those abroad.... we celebrate our land of diversity, not assimilation. A place that is less of a place than it is of an ideal.... we're not perfect, but that won't stop us from trying to be. Canada Day is a time when we are fully willing to be who we are. You can watch a Jingle Dancer. followed by a couple doing a tango, followed by Aztecs on pan flutes.... it's a time where Death Metal kids bop their heads in steady beat to African drummers. a time where... if a Rabbi, an Imam, and a Tibetan Monk were to ever... ever.... walk into a bar, it wouldn't be the start of a pathetic joke. where you can listen to jazz, then the blues, and then a folk group you haven't thought of in decades..... Canada Day.... where even politicians finally "Get It". so, happy 141st burfday, land o' my birth... it looks good on you! comments welcome, please enjoy

Nice celebration capture and postworkings, your multi-national country seems just like OZ...except we're from the future, beam me up Scotty !
