Description
Wing Commander Guy Gibson VC DSO DFC and the lads from 617 Squadron, over the Mohne Dam. Here we have Gibson and Martin flying left and right decoy and suppressing AA fire from Dam's defenses. Dinghy Young, center, low but will adjust for successful and accurate delivery of the mine. The Dam being breeched. 56 flyers were lost, 16/17 May 1943
