Description

Now this was a cold morning - I had spent the night at Mount Cook but woke to find thick fog in the valley so headed off to move on. I eventually hit the edge of the fog and saw the moon setting on the horizon...these colours are for real!

The way the muted hazy landscape gives way to the explosion of colors in the sky is something you've captured very well. I always find the sky hard to photograph because I can never make it come out as spectacular in a picture as it looks in real life, I wonder how you do it so well (pact with Satan?).

It is unreal that the colors are real. I love my graduated ND too but haven't gotten any scenes worth posting.
