Description

This is another image I took for that tourist guide contest. It's not my usual style, and I think it's kind of plain, but the idea was to take shots that would work as a cover photo. (The real name of the place is Marina Beach Park, for those of you who might try to find it!) One of my favorite places!

Just like Weir's beach, (which is mine!). This is a great shot. I love all the soft, warm and worn colours of driftwood, and its amazing textures! I like this shot very much.

That's a lot of old wood there! Excellent composition, and you even managed to get some blue sky in it...is that postwork? LOL!

I found, as I traveled north on our coast, this sort of beach scene becomes very common but that is not to say that the sight of it is common. As your wonderful pov shows in this shot, it is awesome!

It's the beach and there's the ocean, and stuff washed up on shore; Never dull or plain to me! I think it's great and I wish that was me and my hubby sitting there on those logs... lol.

You kind of wonder where all these wood came from? Some of these have been done, sawed, carved by man. Interesting find.... Aloha

Great low POV with a lot of depth created that way. I think the cloudscape makes it an excellent choice for a cover page, good luck! If you submitted this, I would love to know what the outcome was.

Wow! Where are the beachcombers in your area Tara? All this wood going to waste, I would be down there with a chain saw, there is a lot of money to be made from this. All sorts of trinkets can be made from house door plaques to wooden indian totem poles. I would be all over this place for months on end salvaging and taking pictures. I will have to try and find an aerial view of this place see what it look like from space. Excellent capture, if I was a judge on the selection panel you just won. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
