Description

AlooooooooHa! Seems to be a theme going on here for me...Last post I was resting in the shade of a Monkeypod tree...this post it's under an Ironwood tree. Hiking this coast can be exhausting and requires frequents rest stops to put the backpack full of crap ola down for a minute. Or am I just getting older? Naaaaah! Not that old.....yet! One of the many points that jut out from our Puna Coast. This one shot minutes after sunrise..I had been here at least and hour and half waiting for my shot. I don't really think for me it's a waste of time...just being close to the water in the morning sets the tone for the rest of the day. As always viewing this image, bigger is better. Big Mahalo's for stopping by, and your kind comments on yesterdays post. Happy 4th everyone! Aloha~

Such a wonderful place to put your "stuff" down for a rest. Colors and Fstop are perfect. Happy 4th to you too. Waiting to see if you get any fireworks shots or not. Aloha

Beeeeautiful shot, the water is sooo blue! Great composition, love the foamy water and puffy clouds. Reminds me a lot of the coast here in Victoria actually.

This is just "picture perfect". It should be on a brochure or a website for the Islands.

I tell you, your backpack weighs a ton, full of equipment. But when the time and moment comes, you are well prepared. Most beautiful shot. Aloha

Great looking picture, no doubt, but if you were there for over an hour before sunrise, I'm think'n you fell asleep... the sun looks like it already rose - lol Just my thoughts... got any before pictures with the reds in them? The way the water is dumping off that rock makes this a good picture in my eyes. It is a beautiful shot, but wouldn't put it in the catagory of sunrise.
