Description

These clouds over the Koolau Range on Oahu are the result of the orographic uplifting of the Northeast Trades. This uplifting usually results in rain in the afternoon. This picture was taken in March 1993 and later scanned. A very dramatic sky Sig, and an excellent capture of it, great mood that you have captured. It holds a certain beauty all of its own. Would make quite a nice print I think Sig, I wouldn't mind hanging in my den. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
