Description

Just experimenting with Cinema4D for architecture. The house is an imported model, scene setup done by me, and the tree is a Maya PaintFX brush converted to polygons and translated into Cinema using the FBX plugin. Cinema is a fun program to use, although there are some things I'm not quite convinced yet, such as the way you manage uvmapping...

The trees translated beautifully! The glass in the doors and windows is looking a little like soji screen rather than glass. What shadow setting did you use on the 'sun'? It seems to me the shadows on the porches should be a little deeper. The design is really inviting, but the lighting isn't showing it off. All this in the spirit of trying to help make a good image even better. ;) (ps: 3DKiwi's BodyPaint DVD is the bible on UVW mapping in Cinema.)
