Description

This photo was taken on the Schoodic Peninsula in Maine which contains the only section of Acadia National Park on the Mainland, and boasts granite headlands which bear the scars of erosion from storm waves and flood tides. This is a section of the shore at low tide which exposes the kelp at the base of the rock outcrop.
