Description

Have you ever had a dream that has stayed with you all your life but hasn't came true yet? This dream is such a part of you that you would almost feel empty inside if it ever left and that it is so strong that you can almost feel it, taste it! Well, I have and do.... I couldn't find a cabin in the free stuff but I found this little hut and it worked nicely so I used it. Someday I want to live near a lake, not a big lake and I want a cabin, not anything elaborate, just something cozy with a wood burning fireplace... woods surrounding the cabin, maybe some mountains in the distance, trees all around me filled with singing birds, a bird bath for them to play in maybe in the front yard. The cabin would be made of logs and inside beautiful hardwood floors and somewhere inside some knotty pine wood, oh how I love the smell of pine. I can visualize this all in my mind because I have wanted it so much all my life.... I can only imagine walking out my back door and going fishing right there from the banks of my own home.... I tried to recreate what I see in my mind's eye but as hard as I tried I just couldn't so this will have to do....I hope you all are having a wonderful day.... God Bless and Blessed Be! out of all the homes my Mother wanted was a cabin. Her sons built it. She's been gone for 7 years now and the family has kept it. I have a carpentry background and out of all the houses in the world people love log cabins... do realize they are the type of home that requires the most attention? Logs and concrete shrink and expand at different temperatures... Now that I know that, I would never build one for myself... we are keeping the cabin... and with me having a carpentry background, guess who will be doing most of the work - lol.

This is a lovely scene and could also be a pleasant dream but i would consider inside being a little different with the threat of termites etc etc and then build around the outside like you have it here it can be done !dream on that's what we have in life are dreams and some come true:excellent work marcy!~

Yes.. I have always dreamed of living in a little apartment with paper thin walls and neighbors that fight with their spouses 24/7 or play loud rock music all night. But now that I live in my own quiet home.. that dream is long gone.. Thank God! Someday, I do hope to retire.. to a cabin.. maybe a bit bigger than this one...lol. and become a writer. Let's be clear.. a LAKE not the Ocean.. you couldn't pay me enough to live real close to the ocean. Though I do like the sound of the surf.. Anyway.. Cool image Marcy.. Wonderful dream..
