My name is Jennifer but my friends call me Jen, I am from Moville Ia. I was told a few months ago about Renderosity and was viewing it for a few months before adding any of my photos on here, after looking at all the wonderful and amazing photos and captures on here I was afraid my work wouldnt compare. Everyone has made me feel so welcome.  I would love to thank everyone for all the kind words they have given me on my work. I am a ameture photogragher whos loves photograghy, (Very ameture) it is wonderful to share with other people what I love to do so much.

Ah, if I am not mistaken they go by the name of water scorpion are usually found near swimming pools in the urban areas.

it is a predatory diving beetle of some kind, i think. if you have amphibians or fish in your garden, you won't want this.

That´s surely a water scorpion, like busi2ness said. I post a photo last week, you could see such a scorpion and a big dragonfly in a dramatic scene. 5+ for the macro.
