Andrea (durleybeachbum) is right about 99% of the time on plant ID, so I'd believe what she says! :) I found a link for you - you can see a picture of an orange canna lily here if you're interested. Nice capture, btw! Beautiful light.

I like these multicoloured canna's, I 'm not sure, but the degradate fast to their basic colour ---- red. they are, except for frost, very forgivving and can be grown in a pot too!! Excellent capture Have a nice evening Henk

Canna, but very exotic coloring I haven't seen. I found this one, called spotted canna, even taken at the same angle, but yours is far more lovely and identifiable because of those leaves. http://pro.corbis.com/search/Enlargement.aspx?CID=isg&mediauid=AD607E79-8DF0-49C9-9CBF-3D99F596D2B0

Well this is a beauty! I'm not real familiar with canna lilies, so I didn't guess. Good thing there are a bunch here who know there stuff!

My vote is for a canna. I have red ones and yellow ones but this is different.
