I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

The question is, was the leapord really there or did you add it :). It's a subtle yet clever bit of work Carin

Ha, as if I could advise. It comes as a pleasant surprise the moment the eye isolates the leopard. Excellently blended! I can only tell you what I would experiment with: 1. Light (start with lightening the white of the eye) 2. Less texture on the upper eyelid so as not to compete with the leopard spots. The color combination is spot on.

I am interested how you did this Carin, did you super impose the eye on the Leopard or the Leopard on the eye? What software did you use? Who's eye is it? Your's or someone else's? Excellent original idea, expertly executed, has to be a fav for me. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!5+++++ Do you do tutorials? This would be good posted in the tutorials section I think.

Great capture! Have a nice day :-)

a real wow shot, i didn't notice the leopard at first, when i did the image's depth opened right up, very nice job - it works, not sure that you need input on this one Carin (not that I'm in a position to give it) as the finished result seems pretty peachy to me!
