Description

"I hear you knocking but you can't come in" may be a line from a song but sometimes... just sometimes... that is how we act when our greater good comes knocking at our door. Why do we behave that way? I'm not really sure. However I would suspect that we have not taught ourselves to recognize our Greater Good when it comes a knocking on our door. How can we teach ourselves to recognize our greater good when it makes itself known? There isn't a one fast and sure way. I think it mostly stems from allowing ourselves to understand our inner voice and allowing it to speak to us and through us. One way to do this is to recognize the feelings that we get from time to time. Sometimes we tend to hold back and not move forward... it's as if we're dragging our feet. If we look within, we might just find that it is our inner voice trying to tell us to wait a while for the timing is just not quite right at this moment. Sometimes it's a feeling of eager anticipation... as if we can hardly wait to dive into some activity or event. Again... if we look within, we might find that our inner voice is telling us to move ahead for the timing is just right. How do we learn to recognize these signals? We practice paying attention to our inner feelings. We think back and recount the events surrounding a particular feeling. Was our action eventful or did it not feel complete? When we say we go with our gut feeling, we may just be right. For that is where many of our inner feelings seem to be. They are around the solar plexus. So today... just for today... let us begin to practice on recognizing our feelings. Let us allow ourselves to fully feel each one of them and the gift they have to offer. We may just be surprised where they lead us. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: 'The greatest secret of success in life is for a person to be ready when their opportunity finally comes.' Benjamin Disraeli May the light that guides you shine upon your face and illuminate your soul heart. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. A fantastic design and use of colour and space Gayle! It almost seems as though it is a womb of some sort, and perhaps a little life is growing inside..... Like a web, intertwined so beautifully, and the colours are just superb, blending so well and gracefully with one another! Your words as usual always inspirational and most thoughtful--always a pleasure to read and leave one thinking and pondering for the day, questioning our own actions and thoughts..... your words always seem to allow for one to become reflective. A most beautiful composition, my friend!

Sensational. Rips apart layer after layer of beauty. Suppose we ignore ourselves sometimes, at least the parts the everyday ego disagrees with. If I were me, I'd often ignore myself too. lol
