Ooh! Where oh where do you find those vintage illustrations? that's just too cool! Reminds me of the old Phrenology (the idea that you could divine the intelligence and personality from the bumps on someone's head) textbook I found in an library archive back when I was studying history in college.

Reminds me, somehow, of the work of Cal Shenkle. He did cover art foe Frank Zappa. Another great image. You might want to look into the photos.com challenge at graphics.com if you're intrested in competitions. I think your work would definately be worthy and a great addition to the galleries there.
