Description

A hotdog (Lucy) who smells hotdogs (on the grill), a blue glass, and a red and white Gary. Holy blazes, look how red and white Gary is. Must be 4th of July in America. Lucy is one of a half dozen hotdogs who was abused, and then adopted by some friends of mine, who have a real thing for abused dogs, bless them. Please, do not abuse hotdogs. Gary and Rick have enough of them. Hope you all had a great holiday. I'm off to catch up with all your excellent work. Peace.

That looks just like a dog we have (same color and same size and same breed) whom we rescued who was also abused. Poor thing has a scar where her collar was when we got her at two years old and her mentality has never matured past "puppy" unfortunately. I'll agree, please don't abuse any animal. Thank you for sharing this picture.

Lucy is beautiful... I have a hot dog myself...His name is Sir Winston Hamlet..LOL He is my friend, my protector, my therapist, and a wanna be just rubbed behind the ears and spoiled all the time Winston is black and tan....I had a red one...like Lucy but he accidently got shot by some kids out hunting..they had no idea it was Leo and was so upset when they came and told me......but a few wks I got another until she lived an old age..then got another one Huey..give to me...the people just had a baby and they were afraid the dog would try and snap at her..so got afraid & gave him to me.He lived a long life as well..I cried forever when he died.late one fall evening...... Then ran across Winston when he was 6wks old..came home then with his formula for a few days..baths..etc.....and now he is so spoiled it's pathetic.. Don't know how I would cope without him but guues I would have to..just hope it is way off down the line yet... Have to get off here...had chemo yesterday and just feel blah... Love this and adding it to favs:) Hugs Susan~

I'm just about to add my name to the Dachshund Rescue waiting list, I've resisted buying a pup, as all my dogs have been seconhand so far. I've had a wire haired and a longhaired, but now I really need a miniature of any type as it will be a visiting dog with 'Caring Canines'.

Beautiful capture! I love the expression on Lucy's face! Aww, poor doggies, but lucky they were rescued... I have three rescues, two Dandies and one cat. Our youngest Dandie was rescued from a puppy mill auction. She just turned two today! She's one happy girl. I agree, these dogs are just too precious to abuse... no excuse for it at all. I am so happy there are people such as you who care. Keep up the great work! (((hugs)))
