after a long search for the right place and lots of nasty gnat-bites i finally found the right location for some pictures like the one shown here.

This is one of the best macros I've ever seen. The extremely narrow focus would make it look terrible if it were just slightly off but your expert eye and steady hand made sure it was in just the right place. The brilliant marble-like blue eyes and the contrast between the blue damselfly and green plant are poetically beautiful. I was actually shocked when I saw the thumbnail that something could be done so well. You are fantastic.
