Description
Here is the strangest thing I have seen in the wild. It is a foxglove gone rabid I guess...Honestly I intend to try to transplant this flower or at least preserve the blossom somehow other than photo. Any ideas? Thanks -GB-

I googled on "mutant foxglove" and found a couple other examples of this. I'd never seen that before - it's way cool! Wonderful presentation. Don't bother transplanting this plant. Foxglove is a biennial which means once it's flowered, the plant will die. The best you can hope for is to collect seeds from this plant. (Did you mark it?) The seeds might not breed true, but if you want foxglove in your garden anyway, go gather seeds from this one! Your chances of seeing this sport mutation again will be much higher than with seeds from some random foxglove.

Extraordinary! Tara is right, only the seed will give you a chance. Mark that particular flower with coloured wool or whatever, It's a pretty plant even if you don't get a mutant! Such an interesting pic, thankyou!
