Description

I see a face on the left side and there appears to be a small wing on his temple so---- Hermes He protects and takes care of all the travelers and thieves that pray to him or cross his path. He is the messenger of the gods and does his job very well. He is athletic and is always looking out for runners, or any athletes with injuries who need his help. Hermes' epithet Argeiphontes (Latin Argicida), or Argus-slayer, recalls his slaying of the many-eyed giant Argus Panoptes, who was watching over the heifer-nymph Io in the sanctuary of Queen Hera herself in Argos. Putting Argus to sleep, Hermes used a spell to permanently close all of Argus's eyes and then slew the giant. Argus's eyes were then put into the tail of the peacock, symbol of the goddess Hera thanks for viewing and any comments

Lovely clouds, seems we rarely see these towering thunderheads anymore around here, and yet, I can recall many hours of many days spent seeing shapes in clouds. It's always been a dream of mine to play among clouds like these......

Fascinating mythological info, Richard, and great cloudscape. I see two faces,one big on the far left, and another smaller one,darker, that could also be the bigger one's ear.

Cool shot Richard Love that big fat cloud. Interesting myth on Hermes. Never heard of it earlier. I think i see the face too.. he has big lips.. if i'm looking on the right face ;)
