Description

I was aiming for a minimalist feel to this picture. Composition and the lighting took ages to get right. Postwork was mainly colour adjustment and fixing some shadows. The chess set is found here. The arms are from Daz.

It's eerie as hell, and the mechanical arms are suitably creepy and a nice touch. I like that this small scene seems to be the only detail on the massive, flat landscape -- gives it a weird "end of the world" feel. Very good.
