Resume experts say that what counts most is what one has been doing in the last 10 years.
In this case, my resume would be extremely poor since I have limited myself to keep on working on what I accumulated in the 50 previous years. I have been involved in the movie, television and theater business. You know- movies and television screenwriting; stage plays, documentary and feature films directing; movies and television editing, and other other things in the same fields or styles.
In other words, I have turned into a teacher who gives classes on aspects that supposedly stopped being important 10 years ago.
I am already 60 years old and had many things _ themes_ left for doing in the fields of movies and TV. That's why, I think that it´s a blessing to have found the possibility of expressing my worries throughout the CG grahics environments also. Actually, it wasnt long ago, less than 2 years, that I started exercising in Poser, cinema 4D, Vue, and I still continue learning every day a bit more.
Perhaps, most of you have already noticed that my visual universes are unforeseeable, exchangeable, capricious and somehow polemic. I am this way also. And that I can journey also from the most sublime thing to the ridiculous one in fractions of seconds.
Those who believe in astrology would say that it is because I am a Gemini; maybe, they´re right. But, I am more inclined to think that it is because of some screw that it is missing in my head, or to that the child inside of me keeps on fighting to turn into an adult person, someday. Who knows!
I am a Cuban citizen who resides in Colombia for the last 15 years. I do not dominate English language as well as I´d like to, so I apologize in advance if sometimes I do not manage to express correctly my ideas.
Thanks for having arrived up to my Homepage; I hope you´d enjoy a bit my works. Any constructive comment is always well received.

These eyes seem to show a deep lack of trust. 'scepticism' shows most to me.

First I have to comment about the image, because the texturing, pose, facial expression, lighting, character, and effects are as usual outstanding. I am a huge fan of your work. Since you want us to comment on what feelings this evokes, I am having trouble seeing joy in his facial expression and pose. I could see caution, suspicion, anger, fear, mistrust, hesitation, or even discovery, but I don't see joy. It's simply a matter of a title. That's just my personal reaction, however.

Outstanding Image, novelist brings up an interesting point to ponder. +++++5

Es un trabajo magnífico Danilo! Excelente

Well, this does not evoke joy at all to me, which only means, I suppose, that the title is not to be taken literally. I can see where this might have been Fear2, though. The joy, as I see it, is outside, in the fireworks he longs/fear to join. As usual, composition, texturing and lighting are out of this world (do I even need to say it at this stage?). I love the organic feel of this picture, your use of different materials like the crumpled paper.

Feelings...disillusion followed by anger and the need for revenge... And that is just my feelings about the promise of an image about 'Joy' and being faced with sadness:) But on second thought, perhaps this is what it is about - the joy that exists somewhere in the external world, but not for him. Which makes his internal feelings even more intense, like he was cheated out of what he deserves too. His pent up anger seems so strong, I think the next image might see him exploding into magnificent fireworks of his own. Incredible work.

Powerful image!

It seems to me that 'Joy' is what was taken from him, from the character. Looking at his face I saw a child who had his favourite toy he enjoyed - but somebody suddenly took it from him. What's left now it's the fear - what else are they going to steal? I admit, however, that this interpretation was influenced by the titles (both - the actual and the intended one). Without them - I saw expectation, anxiety but also determination... Anyway, this is high art, IMO you left so much space for personal view and at the same time, technically, you created another wonderful image. Bravo!

I think I don´t know enough nongeneric english words to write this what I could so in german. So I only I write that I´m very impressed again!!

This character does inspire fear. I didn't see the previous one yet but to title this image as "fear" would be perfect. It seems something is very wrong with this person, I would say he's not mentally stable, he's unpredictable, he's fearless and joyless. This is one excellent character study.
