BIO
Because we value our privacy at home, I'm not going to say too much here about my personal life. Those that know me, already know probably too much about me. :) I am a programmer by trade and work for a company in Washington DC (even though I live in Florida). I've been programming almost as long (if not longer) than I've been doing art.
In 1988 or so, I started drawing on the C-64 which only had 64 colors (of which only 4 could be used in a certain place). There was a program called Koala Paint that I used to draw simple images with. I dreamed then of getting a 24 bit board I saw in the magazines, even though it was $2400 and I didn't even know what computer they were for. Then I got the Amiga and DCTV. Millions of colors! Yeah! Though it had troubles, it was still awesome to work with and I have found few paint programs that work as well as that one did, though Painter is pretty close. Then I finally got the elusive 24 bit computer (the IBM compatible) and I was on my way, though I still miss the old days of Deluxe Paint and DCTV.
I work in 2D and 3D with an emphasis on 2D. My work includes celebrity portraits, down home scenes, and fantasy. I also lean more toward family art so that I can show the kids, not because I have anything against the more adult works. My mediums include Poser, Bryce/Vue, Painter and Photoshop with a touch of LW (still learning on that one).
Thanks so much for viewing this page and I hope you will enjoy my work. On behalf of the whole family, have a great day...
Oh, and please remain seated until this page comes to a complete stop. Thank you...

Cool pic Louis. I love cats.. Always have had one or two since I was 20. (40 years almost now) Glad to see you posting again. Saddened to hear about your financial woes.. My father saved a great nest-egg for retirement.. got badly sick.. they lined up around the block to help him with his hospital bills.. but not until he spent his nest egg first. So his hard earned and well saved $20,000 got spent the first (of about 20 hospital visits) It really doesn't pay to save for your retirement. Almost everyone gets ill eventually, and they grab your money first. He died from his ailment several years later.. agencies having put out over a million dollars in assistance over those years. We desperately need real socialized medical here in this country. I know several folks that cross the boarders to get meds at their real value. About 5% of what they cost here in the US. Fat cats keep getting fatter. (no reference intended to Dark Knight above..lol) Anyway.. Best wishes from Dave :^)

Nice capture, as I gaze into the kitties eyes and consider your words shared, I can't help but think of the kitty and his/her possible thoughts. I wonder what he/she may be thinking about his or her future. Something tells me, he or she is not worried. Something tells me he or she knows he or she will be fine, and for some reason, I think, this kitty in the picture holds answers to your questions, your worries. I can hear "batman" (the kitty) say, "No worries, we'll be fine, you and I."

Amazing pic hon... amd even though you're going through rough times.. who has a spirit such as yours to take your time with little Batman in trainning here and still care when life is so tough will see the rainbow soon. The most beautiful rainbows come after really scarry storms...

I agree with Wolf Spirit's comments. Did you ever think that you and Dark Knight just might be destined for each other. We all need someone to love especially in a time of loss. Right now there isn't anyone in this country not feeling an economic knock out. Stay positive.

What a precious kitten, and I agree with everyone else, it will get better, somehow someway it always does. And maybe Batman (kitty) is meant to be your guide and your reason to be happy and loved. We love ya!
