Very nice image !! You can alleviate the over shiny parts, with the glossiness slider. Failing that, if it is too bad, then you can paint them out in photoshop. Studio doesnt like a lot of the new V4 skins lol. It doesnt work properly with a lot of the shaders etc. and you can end up with some right horrors, as i have found out myself :D I think the trick is to try to get a balance, between over shiny and shiny. I think the dark background is perfect and i think the lights are just right :) 5.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, I have another one I'll post later that the background was done in PSP, it's a bit better, I think it's the skin really

Wonderful portrait! Yes, lighting skin properly is a *itch! lol After you set the shader on advanced tab to skin, play with the specular settings. On the advanced tab in the specular setting area, I usually start with about a 66% gloss, colors-try em all, from white to gray, see which one works with your skin. Then for strenght, start at 33%, and move up or down, again, depends on lighting and skin texture your using. I like the way her lips look in this image, like she has a light coat of lip gloss on, great job!
