have not posted a macro for quite a while so here is one.hope you enjoy.I have seen red lady bugs but not hot pink thanks for viewing and any comments.hope you have a wonderful weekend

Great find and shot. I found some of these last year and was also surprised by the pink color. The body shape is also a bit different from the standard ladybug. I did some research and sure enough, they are indeed Ladybugs. Thanks for sharing and be careful out in this heat. The weather here has been flirting with 100 degree F and heat indexes of 120. I know Dallas is always hotter than my part of Texas. Lee

Cool shot...but this is a weevel on a ladybug...weevels destroy plants ladybugs eat the bugs that destroy plants...never seen one quite this color before though it looks pretty in your picture :D
