I like this very much; although it looks like the creature is floating bit above the pavement. (And I like the way the pavement shines like it would, if raining.) Another little detail that would enhance what you already have would be to have some of the rain bouncing off at a bit of an angle and perhaps a few water rings on the pavement.

This is a picture I hope to see you revise in about 100 uploads... like putting raindrops in/on and infront of the characters... It's nice as it is, but I know you know what I'm talking about.
