Description

An iris from around my neighborhood, up close and personal. Sneak Factor = MEDIUM to LOW One of my neighbors has a whole bed of this same gorgeous variety of iris. It's stunning when they're all in bloom. The iris bed is out near the street, and their house sits pretty far back on the lot, but they could certainly see me if they looked out the window! I just try to be nonchalant and hope nobody notices me crawling around in the iris garden.

Holy smokers, Ceesko! A yellow bottle brush tongue emerging from the maw of a zebra iris! Amazingly well done macro, just bursting with extreme clarity, vivid colors and exotic textures, my dear friend! As for your clandestine ventures into no-no territory, why would anyone be alarmed at the sight of a lady holding a camera and wearing flip-flops?
