gorgeous shot... the lighting on this is really good... may i ask how you achieved it?

Wish I could say it was my doing bonbon; but it was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Photograph was taken about one hour before sunset. I used a Nikon Coolpix 995 with an EagleEye 5x Teleconverter attached (approx focal length 750mm). The Flower was about 15 meters away from the edge of the lake and it just cought the setting sunlight at just the right angle.

Purple and green!!!!! Yayyyy! (sorry - private story) Very nice shot. The gleam on those waxy leaves and petals is gorgeous

The low light shows the texture of those leaves perfectly, the flower & bud are beautiful. Very nice proportions in this image too.
