I think the original problem was that Muhammed wanted to join his religion with the Jewish one, but the Jews send him away, so he got a bit angry on them. However, in the middle ages, they lived together quite well, and arabs accepted only jews in their large universities. I just wanted to add some historic perspective on this topic for some understanding, because I cannot and don't want say too much on the present situation.
