Description

Here is one of the flowers that grows wild on this dirt road where I live. I believe it is called Rosebay Willowherb, correct me if I am wrong please. Not the best of photos but enough for some detail and color. Thank you all for commenting. -GB-

Wow it looks just like a plant here that we call "Fire Weed" it grows in places where there have been wild fires hence the name. Beautiful shot!

Yes, even before I read your narrative, I thought, "This sure looks like Rosebay willowherb"! The formation is indeed similar to fireweed! The lovely delicacy is captured beautifully!

Herb or weed?I guess it depends on how you think about it.It is interesting how commonplace things become special when we take time to take a closer look.
