Description
This was probably the most interesting place that I visited in Costa Rica this past June. It is called "El Teñidero" or "The Tinting" of Rio Celeste. It is found at Tenorio Volcano and it is created when a fracture in the riverbed expels some type of volcanic chemical that tints the water blue. From here on, the river turns incredibly blue - as you can see.
