I'm old, married to Linda ( http://lindamccarthy.redbubble.com/ ) for what she thinks are 20 long years.  Two step-children, four grandchildren and a great dog pal, our Dirk.
I am an accountant now with an eclectic job history. Have loved photography for years and am just now getting back into it after a 20 year hiatus. Lost most of my prior work and gear in an arson fire. So. I guess you could say I'm starting over with my preferred personal therapy.
It's nice to have a place where I can look at the work of others for ideas and challenges, as well as a format to display my own work.

I recently learned that there are several types of ice plant. Some with big thick pyramid shaped leaves and some with leaves much like Moss Rose. The blooms vary from small to large, delicate to bold, and the colors are all over the pallet. This is a stunning shot of this type.

Superb! If this is a 'Hottentot fig' they have colonised out cliffs, having been planted to stabilise the sand. It is now considered a weed as it is non-native to UK.
