About me ? Hmmm, ok, I am a Seaplane Pilot by profession, a photographer by passion and currently run Mine Control Room for the dollars. It pays way better than flying to answer the inevitable questions of why I don't fly seaplanes anymore. Oh and I get every second week off as well :). I have a love of exploring wild places, photography, gem hunting, boating, camping and many other outdoor activities :). I was born on Christmas Island but am not an Elf and don't work for Santa. I have lived in many places in Australia as well as Brasil, England and the Fiji Islands. Am I normal ?, probably not but i am enjoying my short stay in this existence and thats what really counts.
Am I an artist, I wish, but I sure am trying :). And thats all my little brain can think of right now

Wow - Martin - this is indeed a building masterpiece! When I look at ancient architecture, I always think that those folks can rub shoulders with the best of the best in our modern times, taking there limited resources into account! Keep the Rome (Italy) images coming!!!!! :)

Great wide-angle photo of the Colosseum; the bridge to the stage is not always there and the rain -- usually none of these can be regarded as good, but you made advantage from both of them.

Architecturally, this is one of my favorite structures in the world and you got a very good shot of it. Great POV. Sorry to hear about the camera though, lol.
