There used to be one of these on the approach to Cape Cod, Ma and was always a nightmare until they figured out that one of the feeder roads had twice the traffic of the other and turned it into a straight through with exits to the smaller feeders. Things went much faster after that was done. The roundabout idea seems to be only useful when the traffic is very light. Cool shot!

Is this what you call an orderly nightmare once little mistakes like the one kenwas describes, creep in? It makes for a lovely composition though.

Round and round she goes and where she stops nobody goes. Actually with my ex-wife before I met her, it was five other drivers that hit her from behind.

Who would have believed that in such a rural area so many cars could congregate in one place!!! Super capture :)

Great shot, fascinating to view the heavy traffic from such an high angle. Close to where I live they have just turned two very busy roundabouts into traffic light systems and wider lanes etc. still not finished completely so yet to see if it has made any significant difference.
