Not sure if I put this beauty at ease or was boring her ! lol but I did feed her a bunch of apples off the tree that was next to the fence, so I think I made a friend. I have the week off, yippee, time to get my camera out, and have some fun! I have to drive my daughter, Erin back and forth to Knoxville each day this week, so perfect excuse to get out and see some new sights. She is doing volunteer work for a program she is involved in at Children’s Hospital, and she looks so adorable in her little yellow work shirt, with her ID badge and all, so official lol she said to me the other day when I picked her up that she usually ask me how was work and now I can ask her. It has so far been a great learning experience for her, each day they get assigned a new job, she said two of her favorites so far were, getting to hold and rock, a new born baby, and attending and getting to view a surgery on an infant. Oh and making jello in the cafeteria LOL. Hope everyone is having a nice summer!

This does not look at all like a Push-Me-Pull-You. Did it really say it's name was Ed?

Used to be a Candystriper when I was 14. A special allowance was made for me because the age limit was 16. I loved the work. I was put in the children's critical burn unit and spend each day attending to a young boy of 2 years brought from Mexico. His tar paper shack had caught fire and the tar roof melted and fell into his crib. He had no skin on about 70% of his body and his fingers had melted off the sides of his hands. It was horrid to see but the lessons I learned about people, cause and effect... it has lasted over 40 years. Great shot here...I have found more than not that I am glad I can't understand what animals say...the looks they give me are damning enough without the actural words. LOL!
