Description

Now that Communism has gone, let's have a look at the Fascist State. I don't mean England, of course, although Brits are being watched on the streets (one camera per 14 people, I heard on the Beeb) more than anyone in Europe. This is a "modernistic" building dating from the past century (and well before 1984) in Brussels. Isn't it atrocious? It's situated next to St Gudule's Cathedral in the city center. I'm sure Big Brother is running around in one of those offices. Yuk! I wouldn't want to live or work within a mile of this monstrosity.

Perhaps when it is all done it will look nicer with all the trim and decorations attached? We have far worse looking things sticking out of the ground in our downtown. This is a bit squared and box-like, isn't it. But what a fine capture you've made here.
