Description

Hey there all. I am a bit busy at work these days and try to keep up with Renderosity is difficult. But I thought of just sharing this one with you. In my language it is called a krimpvarkie, if you translate it directly it is shrimp pig. haha. But I believe you call it something else in english. I held it in my hand when I took the photo, and it stinged me. The native people like to eat them, so there are not many of them left in the wild. He grabbed onto some dry grass, when I tried to pull it out, he just wanted to close - so I ended up taking the photo with him and the grass.

I adore the hedgehog. I don't see them here except in captivity. They are such gentle creatures. I have held many and injury is so slight compared to the dreaded porcupine. LOL Fabulous shot.

Great capture, cute fellow. It is so sad that so many of these harmless gentle creatures are found flattened along the English country roads.
