Wow, we have to be on some kind of wavelength this is the second time your work has brought back distinct memories-there was an old asylum right next to the undergraduate art school. It was by the renowed HH Richardson. http://nysasylum.com/bpc/images/bpcbg.jpg I went to Buffalo State Design Department http://www.cic-totalcare.com/2/images/ups_buffalo.jpg The feeling you convey here is exactly what it felt like passing (and sometimes taking shortucts across the property late at night) Richardson's buildings. Mystery, sadness, beauty, the hulking architecture-very on target!
