I am Native American (Blackfeet, Cree, Choctaw and Cherokee). I've been an amateur photographer since I was 10 when my dad bought me my first camera, a German Zeiss Ikon 35mm. I take pictures of pretty much anything and everything that catches my eye. I don't use any high end photo editing software. I use Picasa and occasionally web based photo editing sites. I do the best I can with what I have. I usually just let my photos speak for themselves. I ride motorcycles with my soulmate of over 40 years and take pictures "on the fly" from the passenger seat. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of Renderosity.

Come to northern California, HWY 101--you'll get all this AND rv's to dodge, redwood trees to challenge you, and tourists losing their ways--great shot!!

The 318 curves in 11 miles is no exaggeration.....it's REAL. Every day there are hundreds of bikes on it along with cars, trucks, RVs and the occasional tractor-trailer rig (they ignore warning signs telling them to find an alternate route). On the Dragon if you go off the road, you go DOWN the mountain.

That sounds the same thing as Highway 1 - and 101. Sheer cliffs, narrow curves, only ours is the length of the state, nearly. :o) Looks like a nice drive, though - but my motorcycling days are over. Yes, I've crashed.

US129 is 582 miles long. Tail of the Dragon runs from Deals Gap, NC to Tabcat Creek in TN. There is a curve, on average, every 168 FEET. Can PCH beat that?
