Description
The Pelourinho was a land mark given by a ruler (king) to elevate a town to a greater role in it's domain. (That means that the peasents are wealth enough to pay taxes and liberate some people from the fields to go to war). This Pelourinho it's very unusual in evreything. I doubt the pilar its original and that the top is complete. I've some of another unusual, but I don't know where. :-) If I remember I'll show you a "traditional" one.
