Description

Personally I thought the lightning effects of the original added drama and a since of depth to the scene. But then I may be wrong. So here it is with out the lightning effects. Now we can judge it both ways. lol.

They're both excellent. Personally I thought the one with the bands of light gave it more a feel of them being IN the duel than this - as if in an actual arena of combat. This looks more like a challenge.

The lightnight effect did distract - why? It was not known where it came from. I think it was a wise choice to show it again without it... I was hopeing to see what I suggested, but I always suggest things they are verry rarely carried out. Love the characters, another view of them bent down in a pose and disturbed looks on their faces (zoomed in)would be an added goody in your gallery.

I like this version better also. If the lightning effects had been coming from the hands or eyes it would have worked for me. Very nice work!

Excellent work. The previous scene with lightning FX was a good concept but I felt it obscured too much. There is great dramatic tension between the two figurines so maybe you could of made the origin of the lightning from the figurines instead of off screen as you had done. Or you can have the figurines with lightning halos.

You might be correct about your original notion, but perhaps it needed to be much more transparent and ethereal? Might play with it some more in that regard. I have to agree that it seems to lack something without it.

Its pretty cool man, I like how thid came out. Poses, lighting and such. Couple of little things though that get me, some crits if you don't mind. One is the ornate metal on the calfs of the character in orange, its breaking through the skin. Second is the wind is blowing from behind both character on the lower half, but blowing from the front of both of them on the upper part, and they're facing each other. Way too inconsitant. Makes it look like you just loaded the character again, changed the mats and spun her around. Pretty empty scene as well, needs something in it. But other than that its cool and has pontential
