Description
Rough pencil sketch for a banshee painting. the woman is based on a piece of stock from persphonestock at deviant art. the scene is a ancient ruin, greek columns, tumbled slabs of rock being over grown by the surrounding forest. high light source from the right and secondary light source from the lower left. haven�t decided whether to keep the cherub statue in, or add a wolf. want this very moody. This is meant to be a more sinister side of the mythic woman-creature. Now to find the time.

I hope you get the time, even if I like it very much just as it is. I remember though that I have said so to you before, and been totally stunned by the result when you are ready with it.

Nice start. This does work as a pencil drawing. The looseness of the linework compliments the screaming subject matter. I'd say keep the cherub, but make him kind of sinister. Looking forward to seeing this progress.

The howl of the Banshee is a bad omen of death, and you have caught it in mid shreek. I hope you will post the finished work.
